Super Furry Animals continue to be cool. Like, really really cool.

The Scene has been a bunch of drooling, crazy SFA fans since we were mere toddlers attempting to tell the difference between Welsh and Klingon so we’ve been quite excited about the Super Furry Animals’ new record, Dark Days / Light Years, and its April 21 US release (kind of a perfect match-up for Dubious Ranger’s new album getting its US release on the same day). If you for some ungodly reason need proof that these psychedelic warriors still kick ass 15 years after they starting slamming 20 consonants together to make titles for Krautrock/powerpop/electronic-acid-trip songs about space alien tennis champions, George Bush, and a lot of shit that just doesn’t make any sense, check out their single Inaugural Trams.
Also, the Super Furries are streaming a bunch of new tracks on their Myspace, including some pretty effin’ sweet tracks with titles like “Crazy Naked Girls” and, get this, “The Very Best Of Neil Diamond”. Sweet…

Fuck yeah! you guys nailed it. Furries are the baddest ass band on the planet. 15 years in, and they kick any indie buzz bands ass. True psychedelic art rock.

This is a bit off topic, which I apologize for, but would you and your readers mind giving your thoughts about the recent oil spill, you’re opinion greatly helps and I can’t thank you enough for taking a few moments to give it. I left the link in the appropriate field, thank you!
